8A – Solving the Problem

The solution to my opportunity, we as residence in our community need to speak up and step up to getting this resolved sooner than later. We as residence aim to solve the issue of the urgency of being assigned at least one parking spot closer to your apartment building.

The solution will take some time, however, the property staff have responded to our complaints and notifying each residence of their understanding of what an inconvenience this has caused for 60% of residence in this apartment community.

The assigned parking has been reviewed and stated, it is a long-term issue to be resolved. But it will be soon, expecting this resolved within the next 2 years. As, this will decrease the complaints from each resident, this will show support from the property staff that they do listen and care for their residence living issues.

  1. Hi Miriam,
I think assigning these parking spots is very important. Assigning spots is a great idea, but what if there simply isn't enough space for everyone to park? There may be more apartments than the number of spaces available. In this situation another plan must be brought to the table. This problem will not be going away any time soon and it is important to help find a solution before the problem gets even more out of hand.

  2. Hi Miriam,

I agree with your solution, however, more parking spaces may need to be built or maybe a new parking garage may need to be added. I think it is great that the property managers are showing initiative as well as care for what the residents need even though this will take a long time and probably a lot of money to resolve.
